The Durham West Arts Centre is a 'hub' organization working to establish links with artists, arts groups and arts lovers. We host exhibitions, activities and events at the Centre as attractors. We want to meet and talk to the groups and individuals who are willing to help build the infrastructure for a permanent arts centre in Ajax-Pickering.

The Durham West Arts Centre Community Exhibition November 7 to December 6, 2005.
The exciting new exhibition called 'A Profile of Durham Artists', featuring the works of 30, continues at Durham West Arts Centre until December 6. The Opening Reception on, November 10 in the Centre, celebrated the talent of its members.
"This is a sampling of the wide range of talent within our community." says show curator April Polak. "We are thrilled with the depth and originality shown. We have an amazing wealth of artistic talent in the Durham Region."
